IT Governance
IT Governance is a subset of a company’s corporate governance strategy. As IT grows in importance in an organization and permeates a business, it presents risks for a company like any other part of an organization and it must be controlled. IT Governance focuses specifically on information technology systems, their performance and risk management. The primary goals of IT Governance are to assure that the investments in IT generate business value, and to mitigate the risks that are associated with IT.
